Lots-O-Leaves

One of the best things about Fall is the opportunity to take family pics in the beautiful colors of the changing leaves! The crisp chill in the air reminds me that winter is just around the corner...

On the Edge of CRAZY!...

I enjoyed taking pics of my super cute niece and nephews today! They are so stinkin' cute and have personality oozing out of every pore! Even Miss J didn't hesitate to let her silly fly for the camera. Mr. D, on the other hand, had to really concentrate long enough to get a "regular pretty smile" out. What a goof!! Just can't help but love 'em!!

BETTER than Back to School Pics...

As we all well know, school is back in full swing! (Hallelujah!! Not a min too soon at my house either!) Along with that comes the all too familiar craziness of back to school pictures. Ugh!

I believe that time crunched mothers shouldn't have to endure the rig-a-ma-role of ensuring that their young-ens clothes and hair are nothing less than pristine as they venture off to school in the morning only to get their school pics back to find half closed eyes, an unfamiliar/awkward smile, the remainders of lunch still securely dried to a chin or a stray hair that has found its way down the middle of the child's face! It's just depressing... and to be totally honest... why bother?

THERE IS A BETTER WAY PEOPLE!! By taking just a few seconds to ensure that the child is comfortable, clean and all hair is in the appropriate position, by gosh by golly, THE PICTURES TURN OUT BETTER!

So... (drum roll please!) from Aug 27th to September 8th I will be offering what shall hence forth and forever be known as "BETTER than Back to School Pics" package. It includes (2) 8x10's and (4) 5x7's AND a guarantee that you will enjoy the entire experience as well as your child's picture to hang on the wall. All this amazing-ness for only $20/per child! You can choose from 3 different backdrops: white, natural or black (seen below).

There is a limited amount of openings available. Scheduling is done on a first-come-first-serve basis. Call me at 801-798-5411 to make an appointment.

Aren't these eyes the bluest things ya eva saw?! I could look at them all day! She was so fun to watch with the camera! Kept telling me stories about her brothers, dogs and asking "Can I play babbies when I'm done?"

 

 

Atta girl!....

As previously stated, I have recently upgraded my camera. Upon jubilous arrival, my daughter Alex announced that she would be the first to have a photo session with mom. The twinkle in her eye was a dead give away that her ulterior motive of updating her Face Book Profile couldn't be hidden so easily! It didn't take long for Alex to emerge all primped and raring to go. Gotta love that attitude! 

 

       

Back in the Groove!....

It's been awhile.... OK, a VERY long time! But I am now officially back in my fun-filled groove of photography! I must admit, it's like a drug for me. I pick up my camera, few clicks here and there and before you know it I'm addicted! Clicking, editing, posting... it's almost an OD!

Over the last couple of weeks I upgraded to a new camera (Canon 7D) and let's just say, sleep has been almost non-existent and I owe a big apology to my family. I'm sure they are sick of "fend for yourself" meals that have been served a little too often!

What a great family!! It's not easy braving cold temps to get a group photo. They did an amazing job! I laughed so much I had to put down the camera a couple of times! Loved it!!!!
